Most anti social behaviour complaints about the private rented sector are dealt with by Greater Manchester Police and or Bolton Council without the need to inform or involve the private landlord.
 
In certain cases though it could be beneficial for the private landlord to be aware a problem with the tenancy exists, eg if there is a risk of police / local authority enforcement action, property damage, abandonment.
 
However many private landlords have little if any experience of antisocial tenants. BARLO provides guidance and support, which helps landlords by
